The Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology (CCMB) at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC is a premier research institute located at the Health Sciences Campus of the University of Southern California. CCMB conducts cuttingedge research in developmental biochemical and molecular biological aspects of human health with a special emphasis on craniofacial structures in both health and disease. Our research is funded by numerous federal and organizationsponsored grants including the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR).

CCMB is seeking a highly motivated Research Lab Tech III to lead research operations within our dynamic lab environment. The individual in this role will plan conduct and supervise complex research experiments in accordance with established laboratory and safety protocols. They will oversee research technicians student workers and lab personnel ensuring that the lab functions efficiently while upholding the highest standards in research methodologies.
This role involves independent of complex research procedures modification and adaptation of laboratory equipment and maintaining precise experimental records. The successful candidate will also provide data analyses contribute to publications and ensure compliance with research regulations.

The hourly rate range for this position is $30.29 $32.30. When extending an offer of employment the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education/training key skills internal peer equity federal state and local laws contractual stipulations grant funding as well as external market and organizational considerations.
