Job Description
Join ENTRUST Solutions Group as a Project Controls Analyst! We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and bring their technical skills to the forefront on a project assignment. In this role you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining project schedules managing equipment procurement and monitoring project performance in support of the project team and client. You will work closely with key stakeholders to integrate schedules for the engineering procurement and construction scopes of work associated with natural gas projects.
Your responsibilities will include applying project management techniques to track performance and collaborate with project managers engineers clients and construction team. Youll generate reports to provide project status to key stakeholders. You will monitor track and report on project budgets accruals and actuals providing detailed analysis of any variances managing project databases. Collaborating with project managers you will update project plans and support project management during meetings.
Additionally you may develop project performance status reports analyze project data for accuracy and compliance with internal audits and create and maintain project schedules for resource power requirements. Your input will be valuable to Project Managers and the Business Unit Leader for potential process improvements related to project controls. You will also assist in preparing proposals by developing schedules resource power requirement analyses and cost estimates.
Position can be remote with location in the Houston area and may be required to on the client site one day a week.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree business technology computer science engineering or related field from an accredited university or equivalent technical degree
- Experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project scheduling software
- Familiarity with the practical application of project controls
- 5 years of project controls experience including desired vendor expediting
- Experience establishing and maintaining project schedules / budgets
