As an Occupational Therapist at Elim youll be required to:
- Assess and evaluate the student population; implement and interpret diagnostic test materials; and complete paperwork requirements for initial evaluations annual reviews and three year reevaluations.
- Develop and implement appropriate occupational therapy goals for assigned students in the School Program in collaboration with the IEP team. Present plans at IEP meetings utilizing Easy IEP when necessary.
- Provide direct treatment in a oneonone and group setting and maintain daily notes on student progress toward IEP goals.
- Frequently monitor sensory programs utilized in the classroom and consult with teachers on best programming for students.
- Assist in teaching and modeling for staff appropriate sensory integration techniques and proactive strategies to meet students sensory needs

Hours:
Monday Friday 8:15 am 3:15 pm
Includes a 6 week extended school year
Wages :
- Competitive starting pay of $77000 $81000 (Commensurate with experience and education) 6 week ESY pay included in rate
- $2000 sign on bonus after 30 days

Education Licenses & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Masters preferred
- IL State License in Occupational Therapy
