Job Summary
The Dr. Bing Zhang Department of Statistics in the College of Arts Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington KY seeks to fill two tenureeligible faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. These are 9month positions in the regular title series with an anticipated start date of August 1 2025. We seek candidates with demonstrated statistical or probabilistic potential in the areas of Data Science Big Data Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning. Demonstrated excellence in both teaching and research is required. Candidates should be competent to teach a variety of subjects at the undergraduate and graduate level commensurate with a required broad graduate education. A Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field is required. Applicants must include the following: 1 cover letter 2 CV 3 Research Statement (upload as Specific Request 1 4 Teaching Statement (upload as Specific Request 2 and 5 current transcript.
