POSITION SUMMARY:
A predoctoral fellow position available in Harvard Ophthalmology Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab under the supervision of Dr. Mengyu Wang at Schepens Eye Research Institute of Massachusetts Eye and Ear and Harvard Medical School. The start date is flexible with a preference for candidates capable of starting in May 2025. The initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of extension. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled..
The predoctoral fellow will conduct research in two areas. The first area is generative AI and large language models for general applications. The second area is AIs applications in medicine including medical imaging genetics and AIpowered smart glasses and assistive robots for individuals with visual impairments. The predoctoral fellow will have access to abundant resources for education career development and research both from the Harvard hospital campus and Harvard University campus. More than half of our postdocs secured a faculty position after their time in our lab.

The predoctoral fellow will work in the office located at 20 Staniford Street Boston MA 02114. Hybrid work mode is allowed. Computers and office space will be provided by the principal investigator Dr. Mengyu Wang to the predoctoral fellow to perform the research work.

HIPAA Privacy Training and Sanctions
