Job Description

A/V Support Technician with Spanish

Raleigh NC

Job Summary

The IS&T Audio Visual (A/V) support technician role will be responsible for implementation and support of video conferencing and conference room audio/visual solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform conference room health checks to ensure audio visual and video conferencing systems are operating at optimal conditions

Resolve and track support requests and incidents escalate issues to proper support teams

Support A/V upgrades installations and vendor activities

Must have: Spanish Language competency

Support and troubleshoot Apple devices (Apple TVs iPads MacBooks iMacs)

Track and document A/V inventory

Key Qualifications

Good understanding of video conferencing and AV switching and control hardware (Cisco Crestron Extron preferred)

Good understanding of network technologies and security concepts

Excellent problem solving abilities

Able to multitask in a dynamic and fastpaced environment and complete tasks on time

Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels (staff to executive)

Able to quickly adapt to new technical concepts and tools

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Experience and Education

1 years related experience

Certified A/V Technician preferred
