Duties
Are you Wilders next mental health provider Join our multidisciplinary Community Mental Health & Wellness team at Wilder in providing clinical service delivery that supports our communitys mental wellness critical to Wilders mission of improving lives today and for generations to come! Participate as a member of a Therapeutic Teaching Model (TTM) a colead multidisciplinary team in a Level IV education setting in the West Metro. The Wilder Foundation is recruiting a Mental Health Practitioner working towards Mental Health Licensure (supervision towards licensure will be provided) to provide therapeutic interventions in the classroom to develop and teach Social Emotional Learning lessons partner and model interventions with the school staff provide mentalization validation and labeling of emotions with students and work to understand the meaning of behaviors. Services are provided in the classroom with weekly opportunities for consultation with interdisciplinary team and discussions throughout each week. In the summer and during breaks group and individual services may be provided in the community and at home. Preferred experience working with early childhood or elementary age children and their families. Must be developmentally oriented attachment and trauma informed. Telehealth services have been and may continue to be provided.

Your job responsibilities will be to provide group mental health treatment in school setting during academic calendar and in community for summer social groups. You will collaborate with individual/family therapist and school staff to help integrate treatment across providers.
We are looking for a Mental Health Professional (LICSW LMFT or LPCC) license preferred but Masters Level Practitioners working towards licensure are encouraged to apply.
A strong understanding of attachment theory child development and trauma treatment is most useful. Day treatment or milieu experience with young children is also helpful. A passion for serving individuals and families in our community and in providing trauma informed culturally responsive mental health treatment is also sought after. Finally a high regard and respect for education professionals and schools is necessary.
