About the Role

To work a therapist as part of a Multi systemic therapy team delivering specialist interventions within a licensed model. To manage a caseload of families and be responsible for providing MST interventions applying a home based specialist service including out of hours support helping families where there is a risk of a young person coming into care.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified to Bachelors degree level in relevant field e.g. social work clinical /forensic psychology mental health nursing/health specialism or relevant equivalent.

Experience of direct use of therapeutic model of working with families e.g. CBT SFBT systemic family therapy or behavioural approaches

Strong understanding and practical experience of the case management process including assessment analysis planning and intervention and review and how it promotes good outcomes for children and families

Sound knowledge and understanding of legislation policy and practice guidance relating to children and families and its application to practice

This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role.

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.

The role requires you to participate in the on call rota.
