Reporting directly to the Special Education Teacher The Special Education Job Coach provides training and support for students to ensure success during work experiences. The Special Education Job Coach consistent with the individual education plan (IEP) and transition plan assists the Special Education Teacher to secure job placements analyze and modify job tasks; provide employability skills instruction; conduct student observations and assessments; and work collaboratively with worksite employees.
Reporting directly to the Special Education Teacher the Special Education Paraeducator is responsible for supporting and assisting students with disabilities in various school settings. The Special Education Paraeducator consistent with the individual education plan (IEP) or individual family service plan (IFSP) assists the Special Education Teacher with lesson plan preparation; oneonone and small group instruction; classroom management; student observation and assessment; and communication with parents and staff.
