Leidos is seeking Structural Engineer to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) Team providing support to the Federal Aviation Administrations (FAA) Infrastructure Engineering Center.


This position is located in the Des Plaines IL area.

Structural Engineer Primary Responsibilities:

Structural Engineer Required Qualifications:

Civil Engineering Degree (B.S. OR similar. Minimum 4 years with Structural Engineering Design and experience with tower shelter and similar structure projects. OR a Masters degree and 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of multiple of the following Unstaffed Infrastructure Sustainment (UIS) facilities:

Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder OR working in the USA with a temporary protected status (TPS) visa who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years of the past 5 years consecutively with No breaks OR leaving the country. One must be able to show documentation of proof once asked by security or the FAA.

Structural Engineer Preferred Qualifications:

Please Note: The program budget salary for this role could fall anywhere between $100000 to $110000 with a slight wiggle room to go up based on relevant experience and assessment. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $85150.00 $153925.00
