About The Role:Portfolio Analysts in the Portfolio Planning and Analysis PPA) unit have a unique role supporting WTD by advising decisionmakers coordinating prioritization processes and analyzing data to find meaning. Portfolio Analysts are frequently involved in facilitation performance measurement system and process improvements and support broader planning activities. Portfolio Analysts need to have both technical analytical skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships manage conflicting perspectives and engage collaboratively with a wide variety of technical disciplines. This role will be assigned to the PPA unit a small team of professionals who are responsible for the centralized management of WTDs capital portfolio and maintaining portfolio management standards processes and policies for WTD.

This recruitment aims to fill 2 Portfolio Analyst PPM III positions.

This position performs work remotely and onsite.

About The Team:
The Portfolio Planning and Analysis (PPA) Unit supports the Wastewater Treatment Divisions (WTD) mission of protecting public health and the environment by managing WTDs capital project portfolio through strategic alignment prioritization and resource balancing. Our work ensures that capital project decisions are transparent datadriven and aligned with organizational goals optimizing capital project delivery to enhance water quality and public health throughout the Puget Sound region.

RequiredLicenses:Washington State Drivers License or the ability to provide transportation to remote work locations with limited or no public transportation services.

It Would Be Great If You Also Bring:
  • Experience with project program and/or portfolio management processes; particularly in the areas of risk value and/or resource management.
  • Experience performing analysis to support construction project or program planning budgeting or performance evaluation.
  • Familiarity with portfolio or project management software (e.g. PRISM MS Project or other similar tools).
  • Basic familiarity with data visualization software (e.g. Power BI Looker Tableau Google Data Studio) and the ability to create basic visualizations such as dashboards or reports using these tools.
