Job Description

- Develops and implements departmental plans including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and/or state regulations.
- Prepares conducts and/or oversees department(s) orientation and training of personnel.
- Communicates with staff physicians and administration both written and verbally.
- Responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift.
- Assists the Department Director in the daily operation of the unit directing supervising and evaluating personnel ensuring the proper use of time equipment and staff.
- Ensure the efficient functions of the department.
- Performs direct patient care only as needed within the scope practice.
- Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS (AHA) 30 days upon of hire and maintain current.
- PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. RNC within 2 years of hire.

Pay Range : $51.84 to $71.46.
The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and reasonable compensation estimate for this role includes estimated wages benefits and other forms of compensation.
