DescriptionAtrium Health Wake Forest BaptistsDepartment of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a fulltime faculty partner to join an established and nationally recognized nonoperative spine and musculoskeletal medicine practice in Winston Salem North Carolina.
. Position Overview:
- Location: Winston Salem North Carolina.
- Clinical Focus: The ideal candidate will treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions with focus on spine in an outpatient setting. Proficiency in NCS/EMG testing is required. Growing our electrodiagnostic services will be a focus with this position.
- Teaching Opportunities: Teaching clinical and laboratory research opportunities expected with focus on spine and musculoskeletal medicine.
- Collaboration: Numerous subspecialty support services including peripheral nerve orthopaedic spine neurosurgery sports medicine and physiatryspine partners with over 90 faculty in the Department for seamless referrals.
- Growth: We anticipate substantial growth in outpatient physiatry spine services over the next few years providing candidates opportunities to develop new clinical sites of service
- Support: APP and Clinical Support Provided
Qualifications:
- Certification: Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Those that have undergone Fellowship training in nonoperative spine are also encouraged to apply.
- Certification: Candidates who are fellowship trained in electrodiagnostic medicine or board certified and/or interest in pursuing board certification in electrodiagnostic medicine are encouraged to apply.
- License: Eligible for NC Medical License.
