Position Summary
As a Senior FullStack Developer you will use your experience in working on building identity authentication and federation applications using the latest cloud technologies and development methodologies. As part of the Digital Enterprise you will be part of a team responsible for design & development activities associated with enterprisewide applications for CVS Healthcare Identity Management domain such as Microservices Docker/ Containers & CI/CD in cloud native environments as well as working with onpremise applications and converting them to the cloud with the latest technologies.
In this position you will partner and collaborate with the engineering manager business analysts architects quality assurance business partners developers and project managers to effectively translate the business requirements and architectural designs into engineering components. You will also be involved throughout the entire development life cycle of a product and must be able to deliver an efficient solution as well as identify and properly mitigate any risks to the product before deployment to production. The Senior FullStack Developers main focus will be on the Back end however you should be comfortable with the Frontend.
The right candidate will work with Product Owners and the Scrum team to effectively translate the business requirements and architectural designs into engineering components to produce defectfree thoroughly tested features.
As a Senior FullStack Developer you will
- Write code develop software components and implement complex functionalities according to product requirements
- Collaborate across a crossfunctional development team and stakeholders to make highlevel architectural decisions propose design patterns and ensure scalability performance and maintainability of digital solutions
- Leverage advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features optimize performance and ensure code efficiency
- Integrate various software components or systems ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the digital solution
- Write and execute comprehensive test cases conduct code reviews perform debugging and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability stability and high quality of digital solutions
- Participate in SAFe agile or other development methodologies attend meetings contribute to project planning and help drive the progress and success of digital projects
- Explore new tools frameworks and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development team
- Create and maintain technical documentation including system designs architecture diagrams code documentation and other relevant documentation while sharing their knowledge and expertise with team members ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaboration
- Prefer ideal candidate to be located in Hartford CT location however may consider other Digital office locations /remote/hybrid model
Required Qualifications
- 5 years experience in software development enterprise/web/cloud applications
- 5 years experience in developing Java applications in Spring boot Spring MVC
- 3 years experience in creating Angular / React JS UI Applications
- 5 years experience in building APIs and services using REST
- 5 years of working knowledge with functional imperative and objectoriented languages and methodologies
- 5 years experience in automation technologies (e.g. Maven or Gradle Jenkins etc.
- 3 years experience building testing and deploying code to run on cloud infrastructure
- 3 years of experience in Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent verbal written communication and collaboration skills
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Adept at and delivery (planning delivering and supporting) skills
- Exposure to product/services development and public cloud environment like AWS/GCP/Azure
- Ability to work Hybrid Model (in office Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday) in Hartford CT
Education
- Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred

The typical pay range for this role is:
$101970.00 $203940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
