Job Description
Coffman Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer with three to six years of working experience who wants to be a part of our office growth and culture. The successful candidate will have a desire to work grow and have fun with a multidiscipline engineering team that has recently been recognized as one of the Denver areas best places to work by the Denver Business Journal!
This position will support the team in providing our clients with all aspects of civil engineering including land development design site layouts grading plans storm water management facilities water quality best management practices utility design and multidiscipline coordination.
Our regional Civil Engineering department consists of a small but growing team of professionals that enjoy leveraging our collective experience to deliver innovative solutions focused on our clients success. We are searching for individuals that are passionate about their craft and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth diverse experience and professional excellence.
Qualifications :
Requirements Include:
- Bachelors degree (B.S. from accredited college or university in Civil Engineering
- From three to six 3 6 years of experience in the civil engineering profession
- EIT certification required
- PE license or ability to obtain within two years
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including oral presentation skills
- Ability to work on a highly motivated team think outside the box and be proud of the work you do while having a passion for expanding your knowledge and skills
Desired Skills and Duties:
- Possess intermediate level computer skills necessary for daily activities including email word processing spreadsheets and simple graphics
- Possess technical writing skills
- Able to work independently as well as on teams
- Design and specify basic grading stormwater management and utility systems
- Possess strong critical thinking organizational and analytical abilities
- Positive contributor to overall office and department goals culture and morale
- Interest and ability to advance to a senior engineer or project manager role
This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
The expected annual salary range for this position is $75000 $95000.
