Job Description
Senior Systems Administrator
Ft. Belvoir VA
CCHR24041The Senior System Administrator will provide primary and backup server system administration and information assurance support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide systems administration support for the Windows operating system and applications and backup support for VMWare virtual environments.
- Install configure maintain and provide troubleshooting support for all operating systems applications and hardware assigned.
- Support planning and implementation for all new and existing systems solutions.
- Maintain system compliance by ensuring all approved IAVAs SPs and patches are installed and configured including maintaining Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) compliance and reporting.
- Perform systems backups and recovery procedures.
- Document all systems requirements associated with Disaster Recovery in the systems support documentation.
- Create and update related server/application documentation including Trusted Recovery Documentation (TRD) Method of Procedures (MOP) user guides and other related training material.
- Maintain Windows virtual templates for server deployments.
- Follow all policies procedures applicable regulations and Functional Area processes.
- Maintain currency in technology and service offerings. Other duties as assigned.

- BS in a related field with 5 years of relevant work experience.
- 4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Possess Baseline and Full Computing Environment Certifications for IATII IAW DoD 8570.01M and BBP 05PRM0002. MCSA Windows Server 2016 Certification required VMware VCP 7 Certification or above required.
- Secret clearance Tier 5 investigation required.
Native preference under PL 93638. Drugfree workplace.
