Location/Division Specific Information

The Frederick MD site proudly supports five Business Groups across various divisions including distribution and Life Sciences.

How will you make an impact:

Fulltime role at Thermo Fisher Scientific Monday to Friday 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Support manufacturing documentation review with strict standards.

What will you do:

  • Review manufacturing records with a strong emphasis on Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Collaborate daily with production and quality team members to resolve quality issues and improve documentation practices.
  • Work within standard laboratory environments adhering to specific PPE requirements.
  • Complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training requirements on time ensuring compliance with ISO and FDA standards.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail in reviewing alpha and numerical text and symbols.
  • Peer review team members work to identify and resolve errors accurately.
  • Ensure high accuracy in all functions as errors can impact product conformity.
  • Start work promptly every single day and maintain strong attendance.
  • Receive oneonone training until proficient to work independently.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 02 years related experience.
  • Experience in a life science company preferred.
  • Familiarity with batch records is an advantage.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Proven ability to follow policies procedures and meet production schedules independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Teams and E1.
  • Strong quality focus and prior experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Positive and professional demeanor.
  • Prioritizes teamwork and peer collaboration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Background in biology or chemistry (preferred but not required).

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Work in a GMP manufacturing environment with specific PPE requirements including hairnets beard nets lab coats safety glasses and closed shoes.
  • Predominantly work with computers and documents.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $18.65$27.50.
