Full time starting salary is normally in the range 36130 to 45413 with potential progression once in post to 48149
Grade: 7
Full Time Fixed Term contract up to April 2026

To create and contribute to the creation of knowledge by undertaking a specified range of activities within an established research programme and/or specific research project.
Role Summary
We are recruiting a fulltime Research Fellow to provide maternity cover for a post working on social care as part of the ESRC Centre for Care The role will include generating impact from our research and getting involved in our Centrewide activities such as theory building workshops capacity building events coproduction and user voice forums. Along with other research staff in the Centre for Care you will spend 10 of your time on impact activities and 10 on Centrewide activities: theory building workshops capacity building events coproduction and user voice forums.
The Centre for Care is a research centre established following a highly competitive process run by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The Centre is led by investigators in five universities three major charities and the Office for National Statistics and will work in close partnership with a large network of partners and leading international research teams coproducing its research with people who need care carers care workers and others.
