Prime Video Ad Measurement and Analytics systems directly impact the Ad monetization/revenue.

1 Ad Measurement services for DAI (dynamic ad insertion) are lowlatency highly scalable and available on the Live and VOD call paths for pulling 1P/3P Ad trackers proxying enriching and firing Ad trackers back to Ad Agencies.

2 Nielsen Audience measurement services enable Nielsen national ratings (i.e. DTVR and DCR) by sending realtime and batch data via S2S Nielsen integration which includes artifacts
from PV production encoding players catalog and playback telemetry.

3 Ad Analytics cater to building realtime analytics tools and capabilities to enable internal teams business stakeholders and customers to get a holistic view of E2E Video Ads ecosystem in Prime Video. Apart from providing visibility via dashboarding we support capabilities to do adhoc analysis alarming and realtime monitoring on petabytes of data.



Our architecture processes and handles high TPS (in millions for Live events) with obsessively high reliability and low operational overhead. We leverage many Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies including EC2 Redis ALBs S3 Kinesis Lambda Athena and EMR.

Successful Software Engineer candidates have a solid background in modern programming languages distributed system design serviceoriented architecture and high scalability. Experience in Big Data is a plus. Equally important is the ability to multitask invent create reliable and maintainable code and find creative scalable solutions to difficult problems.



Key job responsibilities

Build/design high availability highthroughput lowlatency systems.
Develop publicfacing services and other largescale distributed systems
Work across teams (dependencies downstream peer teams)
Handle daytoday operations



3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
