The Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to lead compliance quality control reviews with minimal direction and report findings as outlined in standard reinsurance agreements ensuring the accuracy of underwriting process filed claims and insurability of crops and acreage.

The starting salary range for this role is between $70500$116500 depending on experience and location.
Your New Role:
Conduct field visits to inspect policyholders crops and conduct appraisals in accordance with required procedures
Obtain and verify documentation from farmers and crop insurance agents
Discuss discrepancies when working through compliance process with customer service as the priority
Resolve issues through effective communication
Use independent judgment to review analyze and make determinations regarding compliance reviews; make necessary corrections to policyholders coverage that may impact their claim payment
Provide guidance to other team members and participate in new team member onboarding
Draft correspondence to be submitted to next level of leadership regarding the findings and determinations made during the review process
Monitor and track questions and responses related to compliance reviews. Take a proactive approach to identifying issues and trends develop recommended resolutions and communicate to leadership
Proactively identify and communicate potential misrepresentations fraud waste abuse and other compliance risks recommending appropriate action based on findings and determinations as a result of review
Document appropriate compliance review findings for submission to RMA (Risk Management Agency)
Assess necessity for additional compliance reviews based on interpretation of loss reserves
Interpret RMA audit requests to obtain appropriate insured documentation for submission to RMA by defined completion date
Investigate and resolve system data transmission issues
Ensure retention of compliance review documentation
Collaborate internally and externally including with Claims Underwriting and other departments to deliver excellent customer service to our agents and farmers
Comply with company policies and procedures laws rules and regulations through of compliance quality reviews

Required Experience/Education
High School Diploma/GED
5 years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Utilize effective research and investigative techniques to make independent audit determinations
Use internal and external resources to gather analyze and reorganize information and use logic to address workrelated issues and problems

Preferred Education
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Preferred Experience
Experience with crop claims adjusting or compliance
Preferred Knowledge
Advanced knowledge of Federal Crop Insurance Program and documents; working knowledge of general crop insurance policies and procedures
Understanding of general compliance and quality control functions and principles
General computer knowledge including MS Office Suite EASYWriter Pro and EASYjuster Pro

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the roles complexity its location and the candidates professional background including their education and experience.
