Job Description
Role Overview
Brookfield Asset Management is looking to add a full time intern to the Real Estate team (London office) for a duration of 6 months starting in September 2025 who will work closely with a seasoned team of real estate investment professionals in both M&A and portfolio management teams. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work on high profile transactions and portfolio companies throughout Europe and to interact with and support the global investment team network.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with senior Brookfield management on deal origination
- Performing complex financial modelling and cash flow analysis
- Participating in every stage of deal and supporting the deal flow with ad hoc tasks
- Preparation of investment committee memorandums
- Assisting portfolio company management teams with a wide range of strategic activities including but not limited to bolton acquisitions (re)financings business plan forecasting strategic planning and other operations
- Conducting market research and tracking of industry trends
Technical Skills
- Major in engineering business finance economics real estate or law preferred but not required
- Previous real estate M&A internship experience is beneficial
- Genuine interest in real estate
- Strong analytical and financial skills as well as proficiency with Excel Power Point and Word
- Selfmotivated individual with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of another European language is an advantage (preferably French German Dutch Spanish or Italian)
