Amazon FireTV is a leader in smart TV innovation working with top global Smart TV Brands and Manufacturers to integrate Fire TV technology into 3rd party Smart TVs. As a Senior Product Operations Manager you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and managing supply chain and manufacturing engagements with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) Original Equipment Manufacturers (ODMs) and Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to support successful product launches and business growth. This role is at the intersection of product development supply chain and partner management requiring a blend of strategic thinking technical expertise and operational . You will drive the product operations vision and strategy and develop roadmaps that help FireTV scale manufacturing partnerships lower supply chain and product cost and optimize operating models to deliver robust reference solutions that supports FireTV launches globally.
This role demands strong program management a deep understanding of hardware/software integration and the ability to build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with engineering launch business development marketing and executive teams to bring products and technology to market and execute innovations that enable Amazon and partners to scale. A successful candidate will be highly analytical able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities that enables FireTV and partners to build products that customers love.
Key job responsibilities
Lead the development of a multiyear FireTV product operations and supply chain strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs.
Develop and execute the hardware and manufacturing roadmap prioritizing features and improvements based on impact feasibility and alignment with organizational goals.
Act as the primary operations and supply chain point of contact for OEM/ODM/CM/Supplier partners driving alignment on timelines deliverables and quality standards.
Build strong collaborative relationships and understand the technical and business requirements of FireTV partners and guide the direction of production and change management activities to deliver program objectives.
Lead operational readiness for FireTV launches coordinating across internal teams and external partners.
Make optimal tradeoffs between schedule resources and scope and manage dependencies across internal teams and external OEM partners to address major risks and ensure delivery of highquality products on time meeting global compliance and performance standards.
Design and implement scalable workflows to improve efficiency in managing multiple manufacturing and supplier partner relationships.
Identify inefficiencies in product development and launch processes and implement scalable solutions with various analytics and software development teams to develop process automation analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics monitor SLAs and automate risk management and partner engagement.
Proactively identify and address risks across supply chain product integration and manufacturing processes. Develop contingency plans to resolve potential bottlenecks and ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with manufacturing partner to improve manufacturing mechanisms capacity models and UPH improvement. Report on progress performance risks and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Support testing certification and other quality assurance processes for partner products to meet Fire TV security quality and regulatory standards for global markets.
Partner with engineering product management marketing supply chain and legal teams to align on goals and drive operational success.
Ensure clear communication and accountability between Amazon and 3rd party partners. Clearly communicate complex operational strategies (inputs outputs rationale gaps) and provide recommendations to senior management. Own regular reporting for business pulse such as Flash reports MBRs QBRs.
Proactively seek to learn understand and import best practices across geographic locations to develop and maintain operational processes and policies.

5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience as a product manager or owner
Experience owning technology products
Experience in delivering endtoend customer research studies including study design fieldwork (qualitative research moderation and survey analysis recommendations reporting and presentation of results to senior leadership
Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
MBA
