Were looking for a talented lawyer to support Amazon Prime Air our groundbreaking drone delivery business. Prime Air is growing a safe automated system that will deliver packages to our customers in 30 minutes or less by drone. Youll be embedded with the Prime Air team partnering directly with business leaders as they grow and refine our drone service to delight our customers. Youll serve as legal counsel on diverse commercial transactional and regulatory matters for Prime Air developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative businesscentric ways and building processes that address risk while allowing the business the flexibility and freedom to move quickly. To be successful in this position you must be inquisitive enjoy being continually challenged and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
This position will be based in Seattle WA or Arlington VA. Some travel may be required.
5 years of legal experience Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and inhouse work Experience working with transactional and/or regulatory matters Experience working in the aviation and/or logistics sectors Familiarity with aircraft operating rules and/or certification requirements STEM background or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology
