The Sr Sustainability TPM will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing product line strategies and initiatives to help new business areas decarbonize to reach net zero. They will also work crossfunctionally across the Amazon Devices to develop and implement sustainability programs that will bring about measurable environmental benefits. The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of sustainability or hardware development to translate this knowledge into actionable initiatives for devices products. The successful candidate also has strong communication analytical skills and the ability to apply systems thinking to complex fast moving problems.
Key job responsibilities
In this role you will work in a collaborative analytical and fastpaced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical crossfunctional teams. The candidate must have strong business judgment dive deep into data have strong writing skills and be comfortable leading executivelevel reviews. Candidates must be able to analyze and implement lifecycle models with appropriate KPIs for different customer segments.
A day in the life
Work with leadership team to set the customer strategy and make appropriate highjudgment tradeoffs between features and sustainability needs
Manage entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical and work with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver on that vision e.g. engineering product management etc
Establish goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success
Research and identify new opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers
Anticipate bottlenecks manage risk and escalations and balance the business needs versus technical constraints

7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5 years of technical product or program management experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
