Were looking for registered nurses who are passionate about providing highquality care to vulnerable patients in a collaborative community setting! As a Mental Health Nurse you will provide a combination of direct service and nursing care management to members of the Berkeley community who are dealing with severe mental illness.
Our small outpatient clinic serves 260 patients with varying levels of need who are on MediCal or uninsured. In addition to illnesses like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder many of our patients deal with substance use disorder. We work with patients in an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model as well as more traditional models across programs such as our Homeless Full Services Partnership Comprehensive Community Treatment and Focus on Independence.
In this role you will collaborate with and learn from highcaliber colleagues throughout the Mental Health Division in a teambased model with case managers for all patients and great administrative support.
