Designs troubleshoots and maintains logical designs of ntier componentbased enterprise application systems utilizing a componentbased platform that leverages XML/JSON Web services. Supports existing business systems applications and their underlying infrastructure. Ensures that application design aligns with the organizations strategic technology direction. Provides consultation in regard to application design assistance technical requirement specification and level of effort estimates. Recommends strategies for improving system applications with a focus on ease of deployment security reliability stability and performance.
Key Outcomes:
- Drives the development of a global system and software architecture.
- Contributes to business requirement definition and use case design as technical expert.
- Plans and executes zero downtime software deployments.
- Converts business requirements into architectural designs and detailed technical designs.
- Identifies tasks effort and dependencies based on software architecture and specifications
- Drive optimal solution design collaborating with product owners architects and cross functional teams
- Translates designs and specifications into software components and writes software code/components
- Develops data layer and objects using objectoriented design skills
- Defines test cases leads code reviews and generates and maintains relevant documentation.
- Develop and maintain continuous deployment architectures
- Deployment of services and applications to AWS
- Serve on the oncall rotation with other engineers on the team
Skills Education & Experience:
- 35 years software application development and design experience
- Proficient in SQL PostGres SQL Python Cloud based platform React HTML RestAPIs and NoSQL(mongoDB preferred)
- Understand fundamental principles of serverless architecture Rest APIs document databases and design patterns
- Working knowledge of Datadog Docker containerization AWS with Serverless React Async Python Scrum/Kanban
- Code versioning with Git and Github actions
- Basic knowledge of graphQL
- Apache airflow is a plus
- AWS serverless architecture with: Lambda DynamoDB Eventbridge SNS/SQS Api Gateway S3 boto3
- Working knowledge of OpenSearch

The base salary range presented represents the anticipated low and high end salary range for new hires in this position. Your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as work location experience job related skills and relevant training and education. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package provided by Agero to employees.
