A successful candidate will have sound judgment decisionmaking and a strong ethical and professional conduct history. We are interested in candidates who possess some or all of the following position specific competencies: Civil Engineering: Knowledge of the concepts principles theories and methods required to plan design construct operate and maintain facilities such as buildings transportation systems water and sanitary systems and other public works systems. Design: Knowledge of conceptualizing developing producing understanding and using plans models blueprints and maps including the use of tools and instruments to produce precision technical drawings working prototypes components or systems. Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving: uses a logical systematic sequential approach to address problems or opportunities or manage a situation by drawing on ones knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary. Accountability:Holds self and others accountable for measurable highquality timely and costeffective results. Determines objectives sets priorities and delegates work. Accepts responsibility for own actions and decisions. Complies with established control systems and rules.
