Other conditions: Extramural funds. To begin in May 2025 or soon thereafter. Renewal of appointment is contingent upon availability of funds program/operational needs and satisfactory performance.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer organize and oversee online concussion education and awareness courses for professionals and/or the community.
  • Administer neuropsychological tests to high school and collegiate students
  • Interpret and evaluate neuropsychological tests.
  • Collaborate with schools educators counselors and administrators on return to school for concussed students.
  • Collaborate with and educate schools and collegiate medical teams in managing protracted and complicated concussion cases.
  • Assist with concussion research projects.
  • Assist with community concussion education and awareness events.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  1. Masters degree from a college or university of recognized standing in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Science Psychology or related field.
  2. Minimum 2 year experience in administering and interpreting neurocognitive testing for traumatic brain injury (TBI) individuals.
  3. Minimum 2year experience in administering and interpreting neuropsychological and psychological tests to adolescents and young adults.
  4. Experience with developing and teaching online courses related to psychology and TBI.
  5. Experience with developing professional development education for educators administrator school nurses and/or special service providers.
  6. Accuracy alertness and adaptability.
  7. Professionalism in meeting and conferring with others.


Desirable Qualifications

  1. Experience in managing and treating individuals with TBI.
  2. Experience with providing psychotherapy to pediatric and young adults with TBI.
  3. Experience in outpatient concussion/TBI rehabilitation clinic.
  4. Collaborative research experience in TBI.
  5. Experience in writing peer reviewed publications and presentations.
  6. Experience in developing return to learn plans for children and adolescents with TBI.
  7. Experience working in the school and clinical settings as part of multidisciplinary management teams.
