Position Description:
Our Depot Repair Technicians experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by leading initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for troubleshooting repairing and updating medical devices at a specific location in Salt Lake City UT. This is a great opportunity for you to advance your technical and leadership skills!

General Job Requirements:
- Biomedical technician degree CBET or electronics related Associate degree highly preferred. Equivalent experience in electromechanical/electronic technology repair will be considered.
- Recent college graduates and military veterans with experience in an electronics related MOS are encouraged to apply!
- 1 year of experience minimum troubleshooting repairing maintaining and updating electronic or electromechanical hardware required; equivalent education will be considered.
- Ability to work 40 hours weekly 7:30am3:30pm shift work Monday through Friday required.
- Proficient computer skills required to enter data navigate and routinely toggle between various applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and company software programs are required.
- Must be able to wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) including compliance wearing safety glasses in designated areas required.
- Ability to sit and or stand for long periods of time with frequent walking stooping reaching grasping and using fine & gross motor manipulation.
Required Electrical Hardware Experience:
- Must have intermediate troubleshooting abilities in the discipline of electronics.
- Experience using electrical system testing and diagnostics tools required (Example multimeter oscilloscope etc..
- Ability to independently troubleshoot electronic hardware down to component level to effectively determine root cause of failure required.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports to sufficiently capture and defend evaluation findings required.
- Experience in reverse engineering highly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Organizing testing repairing and updating medical devices installing and configuring hardware software and network products.
- Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation repair calibration or configuration.
- Manage project timelines and customer needs.
