This position requires a strong awareness of consumer protection data privacy company secretarial legislation and Egyptian court processes and procedures. Additionally the candidate must have excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate and commercial law as well as contract drafting interpretation and negotiations on both a local and international level.
Main Responsibilities:
Review negotiate vet and draft a wide range of commercial agreements with suppliers service providers and other third parties on a local and international level.
Review vet and draft legal aspects of company documents including company formation documents resolutions minutes warranties terms and conditions and other corporate commercial documents.
Provide sound legal advice and practical solutions to legal questions and inquiries made by other departments within the company.
Attend to corporate and related formalities i.e. legal secretarial and administrative tasks and facilitate of documents.
Prepare deeds leases and other legal papers of a legal process.
Identify risks in new business ventures or current activities and provide the company with solutions to mitigate or minimize such risks.
Ensure legal compliance and monitor such compliance with all applicable legislation regulations and policies (on a global and local level).
Implement and manage the data privacy awareness and compliance program within the Company.
Implement and oversee various other legal compliance programs within the Company and provide training where necessary.
Establish and manage corporate secretarial committees in compliance with statutory requirements prepare notices agendas and minutes in respect of those committees.
Draft legal opinions memorandums legal reports and secure translations using Arabic and English languages.
Research various laws bylaws regulations and judgments and determine the impact thereof on the business and which may necessitate action.

Admitted Attorney
810 years relevant post qualification experience with proven experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment.
Ability to handle and resolve complex legal solutions
Ability to work within a multicultural business areas
Problemsolver with clear analytical and communication skills
Proficiency of MS office (Word Excel& PowerPoint)
Transparency and resoluteness in communications
Ability to handle high volumes of work with constantly changing priorities
Ability to selfmotivate and work autonomously with a handson proactive approach
Meticulousness and attention to detail
Strong integrity honesty and ability to deal with confidential issues
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Fluency in English and Arabic
