Job Opportunity: HVAC/R Journeyman Service Technician with ElitAire located in Columbus OH

As a Journeyman Technician at ElitAire you will provide technical support to customers on a broad variety of equipment to include startup and routine maintenance service system troubleshooting equipment repair and recommended enhancements and lifecycle support.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide initial Check Test Start for various products we represent.
- Responsible for servicing products and equipment (not restricted to products we represent) on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Uses a variety of handtools following blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
- Identifies analyzes diagnoses and repairs systems and products at customers location.
- Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
- Represents Company by serving as a direct customer contact.
- Provides training for troubleshooting & maintenance at customer site.
- Provides technical support to customers.
- Attend OEM equipment training to broaden and enhance your capabilities.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as necessary.
- Drives a company vehicle to job sites. Regular travel requirements with some (infrequent) overnight travel.
- Secures additional work through proactive recommendations based on equipment status and clients needs.
The ideal candidate will be a selfstarter with the ability to problem solve and make decisions without close supervision. They must be selfmotivated accurate efficient and capable of responding to customer needs. Additional requirements:
- Associates degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with a certificate in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning and 7 years related experience with increasing responsibility.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. D
- Demonstrate punctuality and attendance on a consistent basis; required.
- Maintain an acceptable driving record and adhere to all pertinent ElitAire policies; required.
