About the job :
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a highimpact project for a global technology leader. In this role you will play a key part in shaping and maintaining a modern multiOS development infrastructure that supports software development across Linux Windows macOS and iOS platforms.
This is a remote freelance position requiring approximately 100120 hours/month with a flexible start date (ASAP).
Responsibilities
Automate and optimize processes across the software development and testing lifecycle
Maintain and enhance CI/CD systems to ensure smooth and efficient workflows
Oversee and manage multiplatform development environments (Linux Windows macOS iOS)
Develop and maintain system tools and software infrastructure
Act as a firstlevel contact for troubleshooting and debugging development environments
Collaborate closely with embedded DevOps teams imaging software developers and corporate IT
Contribute to the continuous improvement of release pipelines and development operations
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
5 years of handson experience in DevOps roles across Windows Linux and macOS
Proven experience working with embedded system development environments
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools: GitLab Jenkins Artifactory CMake
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python Bash Shell etc.
Experience with cloud platforms and/or Kubernetes is a plus
Excellent troubleshooting skills and proactive mindset
Fluent in English; German is a plus
