Job Description
Seasonal Worker Responsibilities:
The seasonal workers will be expected to assist with the following tasks:
- Sample Preparation:
- Preparing and organizing samples for processing.
- Ensuring that samples are handled and stored according to established protocols.
- Assisting in labeling documentation and sorting of samples.
- Processing Detection Sponges:
- Handling and preparing detection sponges for analysis.
- Ensuring proper processing of sponges in alignment with safety and quality standards.
- Assisting with routine troubleshooting of processing steps as necessary.
- Plate Reading:
- Reading and recording results from plates after incubation.
- Ensuring accurate data entry of results into the system.
- Performing quality checks to ensure accurate readings.
Qualifications :
- Basic knowledge of laboratory practices or willingness to be trained.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks during 1012 hour shifts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a laboratory or processing environment is preferred but not required.
Additional Information :
Shift: Four 10hour shifts per week covering all days of the week as needed or three 12hour shifts per week.
Pay Range: $22.00/Hr.
