Job Description
Position is parttime 3 days per week 7:30 a.m.4:00 p.m. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Baltimore MD are encouraged to apply. As a Eurofins employee you will become part of a company that has received national recognition as a great place to work.
Responsibilities:
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors carpets rugs windows and walls.
- Disinfect commonly used items like desks door handles office tools and phones.
- Maintain cleaning inventory and place orders for new products when needed.
- Maintain outdoor entrances grounds by sweeping and removing debris.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Restock toilet paper hand soap hand sanitizer hand towels
- Stock and maintain supply rooms.
- Vacuum sweep and mop floors.
- Clean and maintain restrooms.
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors.
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions.
- Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment.
- Dust furniture and fixtures.
- Prepare conference rooms for visitors and guests
- Making coffee
- Assisting with the setup and breakdown of corporate events
- Other duties as deemed appropriate by management and for which management believes adequate experience exists or for which knowledge can be easily obtained in order to perform such duties
Qualifications :
Requirements:
- Highschool diploma or GED
- 3 days per week onsite. Availability to occasionally work more than 24 hours per week.
- Selfstarter who can work independently.
- Ability to follow instructions regarding chemical use and supplies.
- Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning role.
- Ability to operate scrubbers slow and highspeed buffers climb ladders and complete projectbased assignments
- Able to frequently bend reach balance and push or lift 30 pounds during shift
- Able to work frequently with cleaning chemicals
- Able to communicate effectively
- Able to use Microsoft Office and have a basic understanding of computers
- Clean driving record
- US citizen or green card holder
