Job Description
The Role
In this position the warehouse associate will be responsible breaking down pallets and offloading trucks assisting the receiving team. Ensures sanitation and cleanliness of work areas. Remove empty pallets from location and place in an accumulation area by pallet size. It is a fastpaced environment where the volume of inventory requires a high level of tracking and following proper procedures to maintain inventory integrity by following best practices.
Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To
- Unloading and down stacking inbound loads
- Forklift and Riding pallet jack operation used to move product as needed to ensure inventory is available on time for shipping
- Assists other warehouse areas when current tasks are complete and as needed
- Maintains a safe and clean operating work environment
- Work independently and maintain time management
- Operates using Warehouse management systems and equipment
Qualifications :
Required Skills and Experience:
- Work in a refrigerated environment 3440 degrees) for entire shift
- Ability to lift/ push/ pull 50lbs
- Must have intermediate English skills (reading/writing/speaking)
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have warehouse experience 1 years of experience working with forklifts (standup and/or sitdown)
- Previous experience with RF scanners in a warehouse environment
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Basic math and counting skills
- Inventory experience
Necessary Core Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent time management and team working skills
- Commitment to quality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
