Job Summary:
Web became our bread and butter when we started back with Adobe Flash website creation (RIP). The times have changed dramatically and we have remained on the cutting edge of web development ever since. Many of our webbased projects remain evergreen with Content Management Systems (CMS) concept design API integration microservice creation development testing and full site launches our Web Team is at the forefront of creating these projects.
Our Engineers are generally comfortable with code in a variety of environments. As a successful Django/Python Engineer you guessed it your focus will be on the Django backend system API integration and testing have experience working on more complex websites and applications with minimal oversight. Be a selfdriven problemsolving genius with design technology solutions and execute with thoughtfulness and quality. Curiosity tenacity and resourcefulness are common qualities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Use serverside languages such as Django and Python to develop websites web applications and Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Connect to thirdparty APIs using REST implementations
- Develop requirements and planning documentation
- Maintain welldocumented reusable and transferrable code
- Maintain working knowledge of Content Management in Django
- Create and manage DigitalOcean Droplet instances
- Frequently commit code repositories (with release notes) within BitBucket
- Proactively perform crossbrowser testing and optimizations
- Tracking of hours tasks and milestones in project management software
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

Education & Experience:
- 24 years professional development experience
- Expert knowledge of PHP C# and/or Python
- Expert knowledge of at least one major frontend framework (i.e. React Vue)
- Expert knowledge of clientside optimization techniques
- Expert understanding of the latest and legacy browser capabilities including mobile
- Fluent understanding of objectoriented programming techniques
- Functional knowledge of content management and eCommerce solutions such as Django
- Strong experience with version control systems (i.e. BitBucket)
- Functional knowledge of Linux Nginx and Apache
- Familiarity with UNIX terminal commands
- Knowledge of Docker framework DigitalOcean droplets knowledge is bonus points
- Previous experience as a web developer
- Tough skin and excellent time management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills with both teams and clients
