Description
What does a MST Psychiatric Therapist do
MST is an intensive family and communitybased treatment program that addresses all environments that impact high risk youth homes and families schools and teachers neighborhoods and friends.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides programs and services for children and families. Based out of Orlando FL; this position with the Multisystemic Therapy for youth with serious behavioral and emotional problems (MSTPsychiatric) is responsible for:
- Conducting assessments; creating and adhering to treatment plans
- Collaborating with families youth and community agency staff.
- Participating in weekly team supervision and consultation; Therapist will function as a part of an MST and Devereux team.
- Providing periodic oncall coverage.
Position Details:
Pay Range: This position range is $56000 $63840 / annual (nonlicensed) & $59000 $67260 / annual (Licensed). Salary is based on relevant education and experience.
Schedule:Monday Friday (flexible around clients schedules; rotating on call coverage)

Qualifications
Education:
- Masters degree in the field of counseling social work psychology field required
Experience:
- 2 years experience (post graduate degree) working in a Clinical setting providing counseling to youth and/or families or 1 year of MST experience required
- Specific experience in CognitiveBehavioral Therapy Structural Family Therapy Strategic Family Therapy and behaviorallybased treatmentspreferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Schedule:
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule.
- This is a communitybased position working with families throughout Orange County.
Other Requirements:
- Valid FL State Issued Drivers license
- Successfully pass preemployment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test.
