Software Development Engineer II AWS Web Toolkit Platform Experience

This role is to develop highlyscalable high performance and secure platform libraries frameworks services that can impact thousands of AWS builders and millions of customers worldwide.


Key job responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with product owners and engineering leaders on building multiyear roadmap deciding key priorities identifying new areas of investment to significantly boost our AWS developer experience and productivity.

* Work with other senior engineers to design build and operate robust highly scalable high performance platform services that form the backbone of AWS Platform Experience architecture.

* Work and master wide range of technologies in the stack ranging from serverless computing (Lamdba Fargate) networking (WAF ALB LBR) micro services (API Gateway) micro frontend architecture (AWS Web Toolkit) NoSQL database (DynamoDB).

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
