The Role
Were looking for a Software Engineer to help bring our product ideas to life within a fastmoving game cell focused on gamifying fitness and developing healthy habits for the whole family. Youll work closely with designers and engineers to prototype iterate and refine our product from concept to production.
This role is for someone who thrives in a rapid development environment learns quickly and brings in the right tools and technologies to build highquality experiences. You should be excited about the challenge of making exercise engaging through game systems like progression rewards and liveops while integrating with a motionbased platform.
Youll be product and user minded confident in sharing your perspective to shape the best possible experience for our growing community. If you love building polished interactive experiences from the ground up this role is for you.
What Youll Do
- Prototype iterate and refine game mechanics and interactions in Unity collaborating with designers and engineers.
- Integrate motionbased technology to create engaging fitness experiences.
- Develop progression systems liveops features and other gameplay elements that enhance motivation and engagement.
- Optimize and polish user experiences to ensure smooth productionquality gameplay.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve development speed and product quality.
- Work crossfunctionally with designers product teams and other engineers to deliver a seamless experience.
What You Bring
- 3 years of game development or interactive software engineering experience.
- Experience building userfacing products from scratch and shipping highquality experiences.
- Strong programming skills preferably with Unity (C# or similar game engines.
- Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies into development pipelines.
- Understanding of game design principlesespecially progression systems engagement loops and liveops.
- A productminded approachyou think about the user experience not just the code.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
- Bonus: Experience with motion tracking fitness apps or athome fitness solutions.
