Dallas Regional Medical Center is looking for full time and per diem Cardiac Cath Lab/IR Techs!!! Youre going to want to be a part of the Dallas Regional Medical Center team!!! We are a 202bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care cardiology wound care surgical services cardiac catheterization and imaging. In some cases heart disease can be treated using minimally invasive interventional cardiology techniques that use a catheter (thin flexible tube) inserted into the arteries. The catheter is guided to the heart to open blocked arteries and improve blood flow. These advanced techniques are performed on an outpatient basis and offer a nonsurgical alternative to treat many heart conditions.Dallas Regional Medical Centers boardcertified interventional cardiologists use a variety of advanced catheterassisted techniques to treat heart disease including: Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization Angioplasty Stent Placement Ablation Coronary Atherectomy

Know Your Rights: Cardiac Cath Lab/IR Tech is responsible for direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. They address the psychosocial physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Here are some qualities were looking for on our Cath Lab Tech team:
- under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist) will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab
- assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
- ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure
- monitors par level of all instruments and supplies
- participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- ARRTR and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred
- previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred
- cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
- BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire
- proficient computer skills
