Job Description

Your responsibilities

Want the satisfaction of writing secure elegant and userfriendly code that enables the daily work of thousands of physicists Join CERNs Identity and Account Management (IAM) team as a Full Stack Engineer and help shape the authentication services at the heart of one of the worlds leading research institutions.

As a member of a supportive 9person team youll contribute to the systems that ensure CERN users can work securely and efficiently. Youll be involved across the entire stack: Java Python and ReactJS deployed on OpenShift and Kubernetes.

Required skills:

  • Demonstrated experience with ReactJS
  • Experience with Java and python
  • Knowledge of containerisation
  • Knowledge of secure coding best practices

Good to have:

  • Experience using Kubernetes or Openshift
  • Knowledge of Keycloak SAML OIDC
  • Spoken and written English with a commitment to learn the basics of French.

Additional Information :

Job closing date: 02.05.2025 at 12:00 AM (midnight) CET.

Contract duration: 24 months with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.

Working hours: 40 hours per week

Target start date: 01July2025

  • Standby duty when required by the needs of the Organization.
