Job Description: As a Technician at Diode Dynamics you will conduct daily operations of production manufacturing warehousing and shipping for automotive LED accessories. You will be a member of a quickly expanding team in a fastpaced environment. Our rapid growth means there are excellent opportunities for future advancement.
Technicians rotate through various operation Cells including: SMT Production Handson Assembly Test and Packaging Warehouse Operations Rotation times vary between 2 weeks and 3 months depending on the complexity of the cell and customer demands. Therefore flexibility in handling various tasks is essential as circumstances can and often do change. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in multiple facets of operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assembling LED lamps and electrical components.
- Manually soldering and crimping circuit boards and wire harnesses.
- Preparing and organizing various components needed in production.
- Operation of basic manufacturing equipment.
- Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Accurately following technical procedures for highquality efficiency.
- Accurately preparing and shipping orders in a fast paced environment.
- Receiving and reporting incoming shipments
- Effectively organizing picking and bulk inventory storage shelves
- Quickly and accurately packaging and labeling products
- Daily Cycle Counts to maintain inventory accuracy
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to learn new skills and work with high attention to detail.
- Must have a background in manufacturing.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of up to 8 hours a day and lift 45 lbs or more on a daily basis.
- Maintain a clean organized and efficient workspace at all times.
- Must be able to multitask and work well in a fastpaced environment.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Experience soldering and assembling electronics is a plus.
- Familiarity with cellular manufacturing
- Understanding and applying the 5S method.
- Understanding effective quality management to ensure that production processes comply with regulatory standards.
- A high school diploma required.
