You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Religious Studies Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a visiting position in religion and ecology at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning July 1 2025. The initial contract will be for two years renewable for up to two additional years. We are most interested in candidates with teaching competency and research specialization in Islam Hinduism Indigenous traditions and/or Judaism. While region of expertise is open we prefer candidates focusing on locations other than North America including (but not limited to) East Asia Africa the Caribbean and Central and South America. The successful candidate will teach five courses per year. The expected 9month base salary range for this position is $76000 to $78500. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations.
