Know Your Rights: Notice for California Applicants: for the coordination of the various activities of the Case Management Department including utilization management social services and discharge planning. Assists with case management referrals authorizations and discharge planning. Maintains and coordinates MediCal (TARS) for presentation to onsite reviewer and files them accordingly. Responsible for copying and sending charts for MEDICAL appeals. Work closely with the business office in completing the retrospective TAR and maintain the DNFB log. Assist in compiling reports and statistical data for the utilization committee and weekly utilization meetings
Qualifications
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING
1. Knowledge of Utilization Management / Case Management terminology and functions in both managed care and nonmanaged care environments.
2. Experience with Windows Word and Excel and data entry.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role which includes estimated wages benefits and other forms of compensation is $25.70 to $29.50. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
