The Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Northeastern University offers minors a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in SpeechLanguage Pathology (MSSLP). The MSSLP program is offered on the Boston and Charlotte campuses and is a 60credit ASHA accredited degree program.

About the Opportunity

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders within the Bouv College of Health Sciences is seeking two Assistant Clinical Professors for a 52week fulltime nontenure track faculty position for the Masters of Speech Language Pathology (MSSLP) program at the Center for Health Sciences campus in Charlotte North Carolina. Faculty in this role will report locally to the CSD Assistant Program Director in Charlotte and will work closely and collaboratively with the MSSLP Program Director and the CSD Department Chair based in Boston.

Responsibilities

Teaching and advising responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to: teaching courses for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders supervising students during the delivery of clinical services including reviewing of documentation debriefings and ongoing meetings; participating in assigned University College and Departmental committees and related Departmental activities; participating in professional organization activities and conferences.

Qualifications

  • PhD EdD ScD and/or Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathologyby appointment start date; PhD or EdD preferred
  • ASHA Certificationby appointment start date
  • North Carolina State Licenseby appointment start date
  • Minimum of 710 years clinical experience
  • Minimum of 35 years experience providing clinical supervision
  • Teaching experience in higher education preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred

Pay Range:

With the pay range(s) shown above the starting salary will depend on several factors which may include your education experience location knowledge and expertise and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarlysituated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
