Job Description
The Department of Sociology SOC at Indiana University Kokomo invites interested and qualified applications to the adjunct instructor pool. The following FacetoFace adjunct teaching positions are currently available within our department to begin August 2021: SOC S100 Introduction to Sociology Tuesday & Thursday 11:3012:45 The following Hybrid OnCampus and Online adjunct teaching positions are currently available within our department to begin October 2021: SOC S100 Introduction to Sociology Mondays 4:006:45pm (second 8 weeks) The Department of Sociology is s located within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences on one of the fastest growing campuses of the Indiana University System. One of eight campuses of Indiana University Indiana University Kokomo is a comprehensive nonresidential campus located 50 miles north of Indianapolis in Kokomo Indiana a city with a population of about 60000. Committed to student success the campus serves approximately 3700 students from an 11county area in north central Indiana. An additional150 pursue degrees in technology in cooperation with Purdue University. IU Kokomo has approximately 100 fulltime faculty 140 fulltime staff and 125 parttime employees.
