Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to support teams building new innovative shopping experiences that enable every customer to discover evaluate and select products they love. From Community Feedback to Alexa Shopping you will partner with teams developing customerfacing initiatives that directly impact the shopping experience. You will also lead big crossorganization projects that make experiences at Amazon personalized and fun. The person serving in this role will provide legal guidance on new feature and product development; advise on complex issues including privacy and regulatory matters; and counsel on key strategic initiatives. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative businesscentric ways.

Key job responsibilities
Support business leaders as lead counsel on new product and feature launches
Advise on complex issues including privacy and regulatory matters
Provide daytoday customerfocused advice
Work effectively across business department and crossfunctional stakeholders
Some occasional travel required
10 years of legal experience
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
Experience in technology and commercial transactions or businesses
Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent
Experience working independently and directly with all levels of legal and business partners or equivalent
Experience with inhouse work at a technology or internet company
Experience managing and advising on regulatory inquires requests and compliance

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $272500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
