Job Description
Amazon is looking for a datasavvy professional to create report on and monitor business and operations metrics. Amazon has culture of datadriven decisionmaking and demands business intelligence that is timely accurate and actionable. This role will help scope influence and evaluate process improvements and will contribute to Amazons success by enabling datadriven decision making that will impact the customer experience.
Key job responsibilities
We are seeking an exceptional Business Analyst to drive analysis and insights to help our teams make meaningful business decisions. The successful candidate will possess a strong passion for analytics setting high standards accuracy and staying ahead of a dynamic and fast growing business. You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions. Above all you should be passionate about working with huge data sets and someone who loves to bring datasets together to answer business questions and drive change.
Key job responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
3 years of demonstrated proficiency analyzing data creating dashboard and business reports using SQL.
Proven experience writing scripts using SQL extracting and analyzing the data to provide precise reports to stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to consistently maintain a high level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
Proven superb customer service to the leadership team and other key stakeholders
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to executives.
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advance SQL proficiency write complex SQL statements and ability to manipulate a massive amount of data creating dashboards/on demand reports.
Ability to create detailed business analysis outlining problems opportunities and solutions for a business stakeholders.
Familiar with defining configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
Advance SQL proficiency write complex SQL statements and ability to manipulate a massive amount of data creating dashboards/on demand reports.
Bachelors degree
Speak write and read fluently in English
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
Experience with Excel
Knowledge of catalog Excel vlookup Pivot
