We areSystems LLCa leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment.Wecontinue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.
This is a role within Systems Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i)
Perform skilled fitting and/or mechanical or hydraulic type assembly of parts subassemblies and related units
using a variety of hand tools power tools or equipment and (ii) Perform indepth inspection to ensure the
product meets specifications and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform skilled fitting and/or mechanical or hydraulic type assembly of parts subassemblies and
related units using a variety of hand tools power tools or equipment
Perform indepth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
Do aligning adjusting and required secondary machining
Work from drawings and specifications and shop orders
Use required precision measuring instruments and gauging devices
Operate cranes and hoists or lift tables
Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
Keep accurate production records/logs etc.
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across
their teams.
Protect Chamberlain Groups and Systems reputation by keeping information confidential.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reading
professional publications establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications
No minimum education required
1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment or can demonstrate sufficient competence in area
Intermediate understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude
Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
The pay range for this position is 18.50; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including but not limited to the position offered location education training and/or experience. In addition to base pay also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
This position is eligible for participation in a shortterm incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
