Job Title:Ob/Gyn Hospitalist; Senior Instructor Assistant Professor Associate Professor or Professor

Job Summary:

The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an opening for one 1 OBGYN Hospitalists at the faculty rank of Senior Instructor or higher. The FTE for each position will be at 0.7 FTE.

Job Responsibilities:

Successful candidates must demonstrate competency obtaining patient histories physical examination and the assessment and development of appropriate plans of medical and surgical care in the OBGYN clinical setting. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication both orally and in writing with primary care providers specialists and team members to meet the comprehensive needs of patients.

Clinical responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical patient care
  • Training residents to provide evidencebased OBGYN care
  • Treating and managing high acuity patient volumes on Labor and Delivery and the Operating Room

Teaching responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Teaching medical students and residents
  • Simulation training
  • Research and/or Quality Improvement

Work Location:

Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in the greater Aurora area Colorado.

Required Qualifications: Senior Instructor

  • Boardeligible OBGYN Colorado Medical License
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Meets criteria for Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Preferred Qualifications: Senior Instructor

  • One 1 year of clinical OBGYN experience postresidency
  • Experience as a clinical educator

Required Qualifications: Assistant Professor

  • Boardcertified OBGYN Colorado Medical License
  • 24 years of clinical OBGYN experience postresidency
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Meets criteria for Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Preferred Qualifications: Assistant Professor

  • Completion of an OBGYN Hospitalist fellowship
  • Experience as a clinical educator

Required Qualifications: Associate Professor

  • Boardcertified OBGYN Colorado Medical License
  • 57 years of clinical OBGYN experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Meets criteria for Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Preferred Qualifications: Associate Professor

  • Completion of an OBGYN Hospitalist fellowship
  • Experience as a clinical educator

Required Qualifications: Professor

  • Boardcertified OBGYN Colorado Medical license
  • Ten 10 years of clinical OBGYN experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • 57 years of leadership experience in clinical operations
  • Experience as a clinical educator
  • Meets criteria for Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Preferred Qualifications: Professor

  • Fifteen 15 years of experience in an academic medical center

The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is nonexempt.
